The Greenworks 40V cordless string trimmer strikes a practical balance between performance and convenience for residential lawn care. Its 12-inch dual-line cutting system with 0.065-inch line diameter delivers clean, consistent results around sidewalks, driveways, fences, and garden beds. The automatic feed line system is a genuine time-saver, advancing cutting line during operation without requiring the bump-and-feed method common on many trimmers. This feature keeps you trimming smoothly without interruption, making yard work more efficient and less frustrating.

Whether you're doing light edging work or tackling thicker grass patches, the trigger-based speed adjustment gives you precise control without wasting battery power. At just 12 pounds, the trimmer's lightweight, ergonomic design significantly reduces user fatigue during longer yard sessions, making it accessible for users of various ages and physical capabilities. The included 2Ah lithium-ion battery and charger mean you're ready to work immediately after unboxing.
Greenworks backs this trimmer with a comprehensive 3-year limited warranty covering both the tool and battery, which reflects confidence in the product's longevity. The battery is also compatible with 75+ other Greenworks tools, creating potential value if you're building a cordless yard care ecosystem.
