Soundcore C50i Open Ear Earbuds - Clip-On Sports Headphones

Detailed Review

The Soundcore C50i open-ear earbuds represent a thoughtful middle ground between traditional in-ear designs and bone conduction alternatives. The FlexiClip mechanism uses memory titanium to conform to individual ear shapes, providing a personalized fit that remains stable during vigorous activity. At just 44.5 grams total, the earbuds feel lightweight and unobtrusive, making them suitable for all-day wear without fatigue.

Audio performance centers on custom 12mm drivers that deliver noticeably deeper bass and louder output compared to bone conduction competitors. The Soundcore app offers six EQ presets plus full customization, allowing users to fine-tune the sound signature to their preference. Android users gain additional value through LDAC support for higher-resolution audio, though this does impact battery longevity. The AI-enhanced call feature effectively filters background noise, making these earbuds practical for work calls during outdoor commutes or gym sessions.

Durability and endurance are key strengths. The IP55 waterproof rating handles sweat and light rain without concern, while the 28-hour total battery life with charging case eliminates the need for frequent recharging. Bluetooth 6.0 ensures a stable connection across various devices. The main consideration is the adjustment period required to achieve a comfortable open-ear fit, and users should expect reduced battery life when utilizing LDAC or during extended call sessions.
